Home 'completely destroyed' as flames rip through Dundee neighbourhood

Fire crews scrambled to the property at Beauly Avenue in Kirkton last night at around 8:30pm.

A huge fire ripped through a set of homes in Dundee last night and completely devastating one property.

Six appliances battled the flames through the night into the early hours of this morning but sadly one of the four houses was 'completely lost.' An image from the scene shows a firefighter on a ladder from a height appliance. An ambulance can be seen as crowds of onlookers gather on the residential street.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 8.37pm on Monday, June 3, to reports of a dwelling fire at Beauly Avenue, Kirkton in Dundee.
