Home of the Year was back with a bang on Tuesday night as Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone and Sara Cosgrave started their journey to find the most exceptional home in Ireland

The property show returned to our screens on Tuesday evening and over the next few weeks judges Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone and Sara Cosgrave will travel all over the country to visit some of the most exceptional homes in Ireland.

The couple purchased the 1900s building in 2019 and initially had a number of internal renovations to complete, such as, removing plaster to expose the original brick work and levelling the floor in the great room. Ian and Sarah described their home as creative with a brilliant atmosphere and say it’s a great place for parties, entertaining and playing music.

Amanda Bone gushed: "It's hard to convert a building designed for another use into a home, but the homeowners have created a cosy, intimate and magical home. Everything feels authentic and original."
