Drimnagh local Councillor Daithí Doolan has said the community 'will not let those involved in gun crime hold this community hostage'
A Dublin city councillor has spoken of the “shock” the local community is experiencing following a horror shooting which took the life of a young man in a housing estate in the early hours of the morning.
Cllr. Daithí Doolan, chairperson of the Joint Policing Committee and a local resident, applauded Drimnagh as a great community, expressing his “thoughts and sympathies” to the young man’s family as he slammed the incident as an attack on the community.The Dublin Councillor stressed that the locals of Drimnagh will not “let those involved in gun crime hold this community hostage”.
