NEW HYDE PARK, Long Island -- A Northwell Health employee was shot and killed in a parking garage on Long Island.
The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. Thursday on Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park in a parking garage that is used by Northwell Health and other offices in the same building. When police arrived at the scene, they found a 33-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds. She was being attended to by medical staff by the facility.Nassau County Police are currently investigating.Late this afternoon, a Northwell employee was shot in the publicly-accessible parking garage of our facility at 1999 Marcus Avenue, a collection of physician offices and specialty care practices.
