The patient, who had attempted suicide, was left alone with four security guards who proceeded to hit him over the head 46 times, slap him, and restrain him in painful positions. Two of the security staff, Abdul Saleem and Darling Owa, were caught on their body-worn cameras and have pleaded guilty to the assault. They have been fired from their jobs at the hospital.
