House of the Dragon's Emma D'Arcy condemns 'vitriol' against trans community
"I feel so deeply sad about the vitriol levelled against trans people and gender non-conforming people."
The Rhaenyra Targaryen actor also considered the intersections of the issue, acknowledging their privilege as a white person as opposed to the discrimination faced by trans people of colour. "I'm also incredibly aware that if I feel like this as a white non-binary person, I know how much more hostile the environment is for trans women and for trans people of colour," they said.
