House of the Dragon: season 2 - Official Trailer (Sky)
Welcome back to Westeros, a world where anything could happen but mostly only two things take place: sex and death. At the end of last season, Aemond had murdered Luke in a gnarly dragon ride. War between the two clans seemed moments away and it’s not like things have eased between The Blacks and The Greens.First though, we head to the North where “winter is coming”, a lightly triggering phrase for anyone who watched all eight seasons of Game of Thrones.
The young king’s approach is typically short-sighted His mother and her father, Otto Hightower , favour a more considered approach . It’s not too different among the banished Blacks at Dragonstone, though their leader is MIA. The endless plotting is fine: the acting is mostly good and there is an occasional entertaining fission . But it’s the more emotional moments that make an impact, like Rhaenyra and Jace’s tearful reunion.
