A woman’s body was found Friday morning near the Fifth Ward area, according to Houston police.
Police say they went to an industrial metal work business in the 3500 block of Cherry Street after a person found a burned body around 11:30 a.m. and told a railroad employee about it. That employee then contacted police, according to police.Police ask those who have information to call Houston police’s homicide division at 713-308-3600.
