Tell me a bit about yourself. How has the environment you grew up in affected your creative practice?I grew up in a small mountain village in northern Italy, with no more than 200 inhabitants. Everyone knows each other. Fashion does not play a big role there. I was always curious and tried to understand how things work by doing it, that is also how I work now. I mostly have a vague idea and try out something on the doll rather than make a drawing and work from that.I did my BA here in Antwerp.
LOVE:Probably a song made by my boyfriend for this purpose, other creative people can add different layers to your work.One of the main problems was not being able to fit my garments on a model, and actually seeing them worn by someone else. Also, sourcing fabrics. I ordered a lot online but expectations and reality are not always the same.I think they tried their best to guide us properly.
