If you intend to play PvE crossplay, then PC players and console platters can connect. Simply go to the lobby menu in the top right of the screen,. You can access it by pressing Y on PC, your Xbox controller, or triangle on PlayStation. From there, press enter, A or X, and it will bring you to the lobby code invite method. Players can then share their lobby codes with their mates on a third-party messaging platform and connect together.
