We previously reported that emergency service crews rushed to reports of a derelict building on fire on Busby Road, Glasgow, last night.Expressing their distraught about the news, residents took to social media to share memories of the venue."I've been walking the dog there for a while, lots of vandalism and fly-tipping the last few months."While another added:"Shame. We got married there 10 years ago and it was a great venue, always thought it was.

Ten fire trucks were dispatched to the scene last night at around 8pm, while in the latest update, the service confirmed six and one aerial appliance are still currently at the incident. No casualties have been reported, however, the Carmunnock Bypass between Busby Road and Carmunnock Road, which is just outside the hotel, remains closed.
