Affected residents were mailed a postcard with a notice of service change and new collection day, according to officials. The changes are also intended to complete the day’s schedule on time. “Improved customer service is always our goal,” said Brandon Bennett, Code Compliance director. “We listened to the feedback we received from our customers and our collection teams. We hope that these changes will allow us to continue to meet our service goals and cut down on late or missed collections.”
All garbage, recycling and yard waste must be at the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day. Collection times vary and collection can occur anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
