As we move toward the new year, many of us are turning our attention to making the most of our days off for the 12 months that await us. On average most full-time employees get around 20 paid holidays per year.
Whether you’re looking to extend your holidays and or staycations, or just take advantage of some relaxing days at home, there’s one trick to making those AL days stretch – bank holidays. Here’s a full list of all the bank holidays we have coming up in 2023 and how to make the most of them.10th April – Easter Monday30th October – October Bank HolidayWith a new bank holiday, you could take a long weekend off, extending 3 days to 5 if you book off Thursday the 2nd and Friday the 3rd of February.If you’re wise with your Easter weekend this year, you could book of Friday the 7th of April, and Tuesday the 11th, giving you a full five days off.
