People need to 'knuckle down' according to the Taoiseach
Every major official in the country has urged the Irish public to continue doing the basics in order to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said Covid-19 “has taken a turn for the negative in the last week” and the Government now needs to assess whether it should proceed with lifting all restrictions on October 22.Here are those basics, according to the HSE:There was quite a high percentage of people washing their hands back in March 2020, with plenty of 'how-to' videos produced to help those who seemed to be struggling.
This was one of the restrictions that had been set to be removed next Friday - but may not be in the plan now. This is another simple one, and it comes down to the amount of things you touch with your hands.
