A massive 8ft gorilla statue known as Gary has been spotted on the M40 near Warwick Services after he was stolen from a garden centre in Scotland on March 20 🦍

A massive 8ft gorilla statue stolen from a garden centre has been spotted on a motorway.The fibreglass animal was a popular attraction for visitors who were devastated about the loss.

He was seen in the back of a black pickup truck travelling north and it is believed when he was stolen he was driven from Carluke towards Glasgow.: ‘The pictures are very grainy but a white van pulls up and several people get out. ‘We ask that you keep a lookout for Gary in the hope that he is returned safe and sound to his family,’ Mr Scott added.It said in a statement: ‘We have just been informed a gorilla statue very similar to Gary has just been spotted on the back of a black pick-up going northbound on the M40 by Warwick Services at 9.30am .
