Amy Farrell, Craig Metcalfe, Aaron Devaney, Michael Lowry, Nicky Maxwell have been charged in connection with the incident on Gloucester Street on October 24
Cumbria Police rushed to Gloucester Street after receiving reports of 'fighting in the street' involving 'multiple people'. The incident happened shortly after 6am on Tuesday and officers found a man and a woman, both in their 40s, with serious injuries.
Cumbria Police said all five are charged with section 18 GBH, section 47 ABH and affray. They were are due to appear at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court this morning .
