'These cases have resulted in fines and even imprisonment'
Watford Borough Council seized the white transit box van in Croxley View, in west Watford, on March 9 after CCTV footage showed it had been used to fly-tip behind a bin shed in nearby Epsom Road on December 1.
Although the vehicle was towed away and placed in a secure compound, it had been registered with the DVLA under incorrect details which the council believes may be a dead person’s identity.Senior environmental crime officer Phil White said: “The council were fortunate to receive this footage from one of our partners and would like anyone that recognises this vehicle to get in touch with us.
