Almost half a million people tuned in to watch Patrick Kielty don his Stetson to host his second Late Late Show country music special.A spokesman for RTE said: “Friday night’s Late Late Show Country Special was enjoyed by an average audience of 476,000 on RTÉ One and RTÉ One+1. It was watched by 46% of the available audience on RTÉ One. Friday's show has generated over 58,000 streams on RTÉ Player over the weekend.

Last year’s show saw Declan Nerney inducted into the ICMA Hall of Fame. Chatting with Patrick, Garron told of his delight to be making his Late Late Show debut, before treating the audience and viewers at home to a performance of When You Say Nothing At All.
