The war between Israel and terror group Hamas has reduced the First Minister to tears
Humza Yousaf has praised his "hero" brother-in-law for refusing to leave his post as a doctor in the Gaza war zone.Israel has sealed off access to the Gaza Strip and is widely expected to launch a land invasion of the territory following terrorist attacks on Israelis by Hamas.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the First Minister shared a video of bloodied children being treated by medical personnel. SNP MP Chris Law said Elizabeth El-Nakla had made her “final goodbyes” in a call with the First Minister and her daughter. “With military action intensifying and the death toll rapidly rising, the Prime Minister’s first responsibility must be to bring British citizens home.”
