Hundreds of people have died following an airstrike on a hospital in Gaza, the Palestinian Health Ministry has claimed.

In a statement to the press, a spokesperson said,"Initial estimates indicate that between 200 and 300 martyrs were killed in the bombing that targeted Baptist Hospital in Gaza city.", called the bombing a “crime of genocide”.The group also called for an “immediate” intervention from the international community.The Israeli Defence Ministry said they are unable to confirm if the IDF is responsible.“I don't know to say whether it was an Israeli air strike.

The World Health Organisation said it"strongly condemned" the airstrike and called for the"immediate protection of civilians and health care".
