Over 200 Primark staff based in Reading, UK, could face redundancy unless they move to Dublin office
Over 200 Primark staff based in Reading in the UK will either have to move to an office in Dublin or face redundancy.
The company has denied moving operations to The Republic of Ireland, which will remain part of the EU once Britain leaves, is anything to do with Brexit. She said: "All of our colleagues in affected roles will have the opportunity to work in Dublin and will be fully supported during this period of change.
He said: " As the Primark brand continues to expand into new markets and new product categories, it is essential we deliver an exciting and consistent product proposition to all our customers."From September 2019, we will be amalgamating all our buying, merchandising, design, quality and sourcing operations to be based at our headquarters in Dublin.
