Hundreds are set to take the stage in an all-singing, all-dancing performance at Glasgow City Halls to fundraise for Alzheimer's Scotland.

Rock Choir members from the city centre, Bearsden, Houston, Bothwell, Helensburgh, and Largs will come together for an all-singing, all-dancing performance at Glasgow City Halls on November 5.

Joined by 300 performers, Rock Choir leader Jennifer Scouller will perform a varied repertoire of fun, uplifting songs like For Once In My Life by Stevie Wonder and Sweet Child Of Mine by Guns N' Roses. The charity is close to Jennifer's heart after her mum was sadly diagnosed with Alzheimer's last year.Jennifer said:"I’m so thrilled to be returning to the prestigious Glasgow City Halls as it will be the first time all my choirs will be performing together in this setting post-Covid.

"Everyone is so looking forward to taking to the stage and performing again together as one large choir."A spokesperson for the event said:"This special Rock Choir performance will bring joy, energy, passion, upbeat feel-good songs, a few slower emotional songs and a night out that is guaranteed to make you feel exuberant and uplifted."

Jennifer’s ‘Rockies’ have already raised £1,000 so far this year and hope to raise a considerable amount more at the concert.Readers’ comments: You are personally liable for the content of any comments you upload to this website, so please act responsibly.
