Nottinghamshire is home to several fantastic garden centres
There are few things finer than a trip to the garden centre when the weather is nice. But these days it's often about far more than just buying a few plants.
Most now often have cafés serving up everything from homemade cakes to delicious home-cooked meals. Some will also have some fun stuff to keep the little ones occupied from playgrounds to rides. And, of course, we all know that garden centres aren't just a nice place to head to in spring or summer. They really come into their own at Christmas and are often stacked with festive decorations.We think our garden centres and the hardworking staff at them should be celebrated. We are looking to crown Nottinghamshire's best garden centre.
