Earl could still cause rough surf and rip currents in Bermuda, and forecasters are also warning those along the East Coast of the U.S. to beware of rip currents over the next day or so. As of 10 a.m. CDT Friday, Hurricane Earl was located 255 miles east-northeast of Bermuda and was moving northeast at 22 mph.
The first one was in the central tropical Atlantic about 1,100 miles east of the Leeward Islands. The hurricane center said upper-level winds were disrupting the system and it was becoming less likely that it could become a tropical depression.
