'My main issue was finding the time in my day for all of these walks, but as I work from home, I was able to fit them in on my breaks from work, and either before or after work depending on what shift I had.'

We've all heard of the health benefits of walking 10,000 steps a day but how many of us have actually put it to the test?

While it took a lot of commitment to fit it in her busy schedule, Sarah stuck with it and found she was easily able to smash her 10,000 steps target on her days off - and even double it. "Meanwhile on my days off, I would clock up 20-21,000 steps, walking to get my errands done and meet up with friends."

As well as the physical health benefits, Sarah found the extra solitary time had some other surprising benefits including being out in nature, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
