A woman has opened up about her waking nightmare after she was left screaming in agony following a botched Turkey surgery.

As soon as she woke up, it became clear something had gone horrifyingly wrong.
Infection set in and the Turkish surgeon opted to perform a second surgery - this time in a place that reportedly looked more like a beauty clinic than an operating theatre. Only local anaesthetic was administered, meaning Sara was awake while the surgeon operated on a wound in her stomach. However a document from the hospital, signed and stamped by the doctor, stated the surgery "did not go to plan" and would need to be addressed with further surgery in six months.
Sara has since undergone nine surgeries to repair her body, and is grateful to be alive. Devastatingly, her right breast couldn't be saved and she's been left with severe scarring. This includes an eight centimetre wide and 11 centimetre long skin graft on her stomach attached to the muscle beneath, which has limited her physical mobility.
