Festival organisers told GCN Ireland that “concerns” were raised by the LGBTQ+ community
All Together Now festival organisers have cancelled US musician Osunlade's appearance this weekend over alleged transphobic comments he made.
The event, in Portlaw, Co Waterford this weekend, will not feature the act and he has been taken off the official line-up. over his views on social media.They said views shared by the musician, 54, “do not align” with those of the festival. Organisers said they “support trans rights and the trans community.”
Osunlade said on his Instagram: “You trans mafia trying to cancel me – it’s not working. First of all I get paid regardless, especially when cancelled.”
