With food prices soaring, millions of us are trying to find cheaper ways to feed ourselves, and there's now a much thriftier way to get your hands on your favourite treats without breaking the bank.

The bags are made up of a variety of leftovers which the venues sell at the end of the day at a much lower price. Which items you'll receive remains a mystery until you collect it.The app tells you how many are left for each store or restaurant, and what time you can pick the bag up. Some food spots sell out in seconds, and when it came to Greggs there was only one bag left.

I wasn't too sure what to expect ins my bag. The app does warn that as it's a random selection, some dietary requirements cannot be catered for.
