He first made sure to mow his lawn, but kept it at the lowest setting possible. He recommended putting your lawnmower at one and a half inches.He would fill up his wagon with the mixture and bring it over to his bumpy lawn and spread it out over the grass using a landscape rake. Andrew then used a levelling rack to fine tune the lawn and ensure that the grass could pop through the soil.Now that groundwork was done, he moved on to the premium grass seed. He used a drop spreader around the perimeter of the lawn. This was done to make sure the grass seeds kept out of the flower beds. He chose to use a broadcast spreader for the centre of the lawn.He picked The Andersons 16-4-8 Fertilizer, but any starter fertiliser can be used for this project.
