, LeVert has one year left on his contract that will pay him nearly $18.8 million next season. He’s eligible for an extension, which the Cavs will presumably consider.
LeVert’s age, versatility and character fit the young core the Cavs are building, and he’s hopeful that leads to something. Asked what stands out about the Cavaliers, LeVert said, “First and foremost just the people in the organization, from the staff to the players to everyone, coaches, everyone. And then the talent level, the skill level, the competitiveness of the group. You want to play with guys who are extremely talented, obviously a good team and then good guys off the court.”
