Ronan Finn is determined to make an appearance in his final game for Shamrock Rovers.
Ronan Finn will strap up his ankle tonight for one final appearance in the green and white of Shamrock Rovers.
Finn was in hospital yesterday morning for a scan - and peace of mind that he would be suited and booted for a historic trophy lift. Asked if the drive for an unprecedented five titles in a row was possible, he replied: “Yeah, absolutely. “When you see calmness coming from the top, he showed us statistics and he went through stuff in detail which really reinforced it for us.
“It is a different kind of pressure but I could never come away from that inner pressure where your standards still need to be met. I don’t think that’s in my DNA, to not play with that edge,” he said.
