While I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! may be known for Bushtucker Trials, witchetty grub and diet of beans and rice, the Australian jungle is also the home to some serious conversations.
In 2009, the Karma Chameleon singer was sentenced to 15 months in jail for the false imprisonment and assault of male escort Audun Carlsen, who was 29 at the time, by handcuffing him to a wall and beating him with a metal chain. However, he admitted to handcuffing Audun to the wall, though said he believed that Audun had stolen photos from his laptop so he did so in order to find the missing property, the BBC reports.
Speaking on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in 2017 about the event, Boy George opened up about the event and broke down while talking about the case.
