Sam Thompson has revealed he went to the doctors prior to flying to Australia for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, which starts this weekend
Former TOWIE man Sam Thompson has admitted he went to a doctor prior to his new role on the I'm A Celebrity spin off show.
As his schedule sees him record in UK time rather than the huge time difference in Australia, Sam asked docs for some sleeping pills. He revealed his request on his podcast Staying Relevant, which was released shortly after he made the long journey to the other side of the globe. Best pal and co-host, Pete Wicks - who is currently flying high in Strictly Come Dancing - confessed to Sam: "You don't cope well with change and what Sam said to me when he told me this last week is 'I've just been to the doctor and I've got 24 sleeping pills.'"
Sam will appear on the ITV spin-off alongside Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers. The new series of the hit jungle contest gets under way on Sunday, November 17, and the impressive lineup was revealed on Monday evening.
