Anthony Joshua tells talkSPORT he was ‘baffled’ by comments made by his former trainer
Of his three coaches, AJ only retained Fernandez for last year’s Usyk rematch.
Joshua explained: “I started working [just] with Angel Fernandez, a very good coach but he was first to admit, ‘I want to help, but I’m not experienced enough.’“I said, ‘Alright, you know what, Angel? Due to my past experience where I brought on the coaches, you choose.’“Even though I’ve got the vision, if my coaches don’t think it’s right, it’s not going to work.
