There are savings to be had on everything from tea and coffee to laundry products
If there's one thing that households are wanting to do right now, it's to cut some costs. Yet, as the saying goes 'you have to speculate to accumulate' - and at B&M it couldn't be truer at the moment.
I headed along to my local B&M to see what savings I could make by buying big on typical products my family would use over the space of a few months. If you drink as much tea as we do, then it's definitely worth shopping around for teabags, especially when it comes to the bigger brands. A 45-wash box of tropical lily Surf powder costs £5.49, but I got a 130-wash box for £13.99, meaning a saving of £1.87. And while the £1.99 cost of Lenor tumble dryer sheets makes them 6p a go, the larger 60-pack for £2.49 brings them down to 4p each, giving a saving of £1.02.
