'I tried Aldi's affordable Lacura products - and got complimented on my 'glowing skin'
If there's one fact of life that will always remain certain, it is that Aldi is one of the best places to be when you want to nab yourself some sweet bargains.
With glowing reviews and products going viral on social media, I have always wondered if the supermarket's own-brand of skincare products are as good as people say. Despite being a massive Aldi and skincare fanatic, I had never really tried them out before as I had a pretty solid routine in place. I absolutely loved the creamy texture which definitely helped remove all my make-up - eye make-up included - and left my skin feeling luxuriously smooth. Combined with the hot cloth to 'polish' the skin, I genuinely felt as though my skin had a spa facial from home.Now, I know what you are all thinking, didn't I just review a facial cleanser.
Which is exactly why I decided to test out the Healthy Glow Glycolic Toner which features a light 5% of glycolic acid, meaning it could be used twice daily. I will admit, I was a little sceptical when I first opened the tub, mainly because it seemed like quite a heavy based cream. Despite having dry skin, I do feel like thicker creams tend to leave my face feeling over-saturated and oily.
