Sarah Goddard has called on the council to act
A mum has been left shaken after her eight-year-old son put a deadly berry in his mouth that he found in a Stockport park.

I just thought ‘oh my god my son might die’. I didn’t know if he had swallowed one before I got to him. I was terrified. A spokesperson for Stockport Council said the installation of warning signs in the borough’s parks and greenspaces would “not be appropriate due to the vast number of locations involved”.
