Munster Rugby were left reeling when Graham Rowntree left my mutual consent but Ian Costello has steadied the ship.
Conor Murray has backed Ian Costello to stay on as Munster’s interim coach for the remainder of the season.
And Murray knows Costello, who stepped up when former coach Graham Rowntree was moved on, has played a major part in the club’s revival. “The show has kept going on and Cossie has done a really good job letting Prendy , Leams, Mossy continue what they're doing and he's just navigating it all. “Even if a head coach came in, we'd ask ‘can we keep the same game plan because we can't learn a new game plan in the middle of the season.’ So that would probably have to wait till the summer.”
