Ibiza and Majorca to freeze tourist tax next summer for UK tourists - rates you'll pay
British holidaymakers who wish to travel to the Balearic islands of Majorca and Ibiza next summer will not be hit with an increase in tourism tax, officials have confirmed.
Finance minister, Rosario Sánchez said the tourist tax "is calculated as we think it will be at the end of the budget, which is in the same circumstances in which we had it until now." For those heading to the Balearics, there are new rules in place for holidaymakers as part of a wider crackdown on unruly tourists, affecting certain hotspots in both Majorca and Ibiza.
