Ice cream man left stunned as Erling Haaland boards van to serve frozen treats to fans
An ice cream man was left stunned when Manchester City star Erling Haaland boarded his van and began serving frozen treats to fans.
Mr Azam, 36, had been serving ice cream to City supporters at a VIP event at Depot Mayfield following City's open-top bus parade through Manchester city centre on Monday. "It was dark outside so I wasn't able to see," he explained. "I was not in the mood to serve anybody so told the person I was closed and he said 'are you going to say no to Haaland?'
Mr Azam said he decided to invite the footballer, who was wearing gold Dolce & Gabbana pyjamas, inside the van.
