Food Safety Authority issues recall of Iceland products over undeclared milk
Frozen food chain Iceland has issued a recall for a number of spring roll products over safety concerns.
The Food Safety Authority announced the chain would be recalling batches of its Diggers Oriental Duck Spring Rolls and Diggers Oriental Vegetable Spring Rolls products over undeclared milk. The FSA has warned the affected batches may be unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk or its constituents.
The affected batches are: Diggers Oriental Duck Spring Rolls, pack size: 40 x 60g, best before dates from 15.02.2020 to 07.02.2021 inclusive, approval number: IE 4025 EC.best before dates from 15.02.2020 to 02.02.2021 inclusive, approval number: IE 4025 EC. A statement on the FSA website reads: "Pan Euro Foods is recalling the above batches of Diggers Oriental Duck Spring Rolls and Diggers Oriental Vegetable Spring Rolls, as milk is an ingredient but is not declared in the ingredients list.Wholesalers/distributors have been told to contact their customers and recall the affected batches and provide a point-of-sale notice to their retailer customers.
