The veteran radio RTE presenter passed away on Thursday aged 69
She died suddenly as she slept at her home in Naas in a death which has shocked the nation.A statement on RIP.ie reads: "Finucane Clarke, Marian, Punchestown, Co. Kildare, January 2nd 2020.
"Peacefully, at home. Loving wife of John and mother of Jack and the late Sinéad. Will be dearly missed by her loving family, relatives, colleagues and friends. "Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Kill, on Tuesday 7th for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by private burial. No flowers, by request."

Ireland will miss her voice. Weekend mornings will never be the same again.“I’m very sad to think we won’t hear her voice again on the radio."
Marian is survived by her husband John and son Jack. Her eight-year-old daughter Sinead died from leukaemia in 1990.
