Known for his voice and loud comedic style, the late Gilbert Gottfried is remembered for roles like Iago in Aladdin and his voice portrayal of the Aflac Duck.

He starred on Saturday Night Live during a 12-episode run in 1980 before receiving one of his breakout roles with SNL partner Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop II, according to a report. Known for his voice and loud comedic style, Gottfried is remembered for roles such as Iago in Aladdin and his voice portrayal of the Aflac Duck.
"Although today is a sad day for all of us, please keep laughing as loud as possible in Gilbert's honor," the family statement read.Gottfried is remembered by his wife Dara and their two children Lily and Max.
