AN “ICONIC” hotel on the banks of one of Scotland’s most popular lochs has been sold to a growing Scottish chain.Positioned at the point where the A83 to Argyll and Bute diverges from the A82 to the Highlands and Glencoe, the 68-bedroom hotel is passed by thousands of tourists every year.
The Tarbet Hotel sits on a spot which has been a resting place for travellers for more than 400 years, with the current building dating back 250 years, according to its TripAdvisor description.
