Collection service allows customers to pick up Ikea goods without extra cost at 21 locations if order is worth more than €200

Ikea and Tesco Ireland’s collaboration aims to make Ikea ’s product range more accessible and give customers a more sustainable delivery option.

The collection points allow customers to pick up their Ikea orders for free if the order is for more than €200. Orders under €200 will cost an extra €15 for pickup.Fred Cooke: ‘Once when I was hungover, I accidentally put €50 in the basket at Mass, thinking it was €10. You live and learn’in Cork, Louth and Kildare in May 2023, the new service has experienced “phenomenal engagement”, leading to expansion to 21 locations nationwide, Ikea said.

When placing an order online, customers will go through the usual checkout option and select the collection service at their local Tesco. Ikea market manager in Ireland, Jayne Owen-Gauld, said: “We’re incredibly proud of our partnership with Tesco Ireland, which has allowed us to bring convenient and affordable collection services, including our highly successful click-and-collect option, to customers across key locations.
