Imane Khelif will box for a gold medal later tonight as the Paris Olympics draws to a close.
Algeria's Imane Khelif has faced a whirlwind couple of weeks, having been targeted on social media, but will face off against Yang Liu of China at 9.51 pm at Roland Garros.
Before her semi-final victory over Janjaem Suwannapheng of Thailand, Khelif broke her silence on the matter that has dominated the Games. She said: " I send a message to all the people of the world to uphold the Olympic principles and the Olympic Charter. And ahead of the final, Khelif said: "“I don’t care what anyone is saying about me with the controversy.
