Anna Luca Hamori has insisted she "doesn't care" about the controversy surrounding boxer Imane Khelif after she won their bout by unanimous decision at the Paris Olympics.
The IBA are no longer boxing's world governing body, having been stripped of their status last year over governance problems and corruption allegations, and the IOC have also raised doubts over the test. And Hamori shut down questions about the controversy after the bout, despite stating she did not "think it's fair" for Khelif to be competing ahead of their fight. In a post on social media, she said: "In my humble opinion, I don't think it's fair that this contestant can compete in the women's category.
However, when asked if she still felt that way after the contest, Hamori told BBC Sport: "I don't care about it. It was a very hard day for both of us but I just want to say it was a great fight and I wish good luck to Khelif in the future, and thank you so much."
