She revealed they used to FaceTime 'with a cup tea in their dressing gowns'
Imelda May says the death of her good friend Sinead O’Connor death was like a "kick to the stomach" - admitting she still hasn't come to terms with the news.
She told The Pat Kenny Show: “Sinéad was a good friend of mine and she got me through some tough times. We got each other through some stuff.“We'd FaceTime each other with a cup of tea in our dressing gowns, and whinge about what we needed to whinge about and laugh about what we needed to laugh about.”She said: “I'll really miss her and I'll miss those phone calls.
Imelda was speaking ahead of her upcoming performances in Peter Sheridan’s stage adaptation of Mother of all the Behans at the Bray Mermaid Arts Centre in Dublin next week.
