Mourners lined the route on Sunday as the Queen’s coffin set off on a lengthy journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh’s Holyroodhouse.
A royal procession headed by the King will on Monday transport the coffin from Holyroodhouse to St Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh, where the monarch will lie in state for one day before being flown to London ahead of her funeral.
