Hundreds of scarecrows from the four corners of Ireland and further afield compete in All-Ireland Scarecrow Championships
The Durrow Scarecrow Festival is now in its 9th year. The highlight of the festival is the All-Ireland Scarecrow Championships in which hundreds of scarecrows from the four corners of Ireland and even further afield compete to win a prize. The festival runs until Monday, August 5th, in Durrow, Co Laois.Sive O’Sullivan listens for a heartbeat, watched by Nina Gordon, Ruth O’Sullivan and Faye Gordon, all from Kilkenny.
